2012 Entry Form
Once again, motoring enthusiasts are invited, to the Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend
on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th August 2012.
As usual all entrants will receive a programme, including a list of entrants and a memento of the rally, when they arrive on the rally field. There will be prizes for all classes, with judging on the usual self judging basis.
We would like to emphasise that all profits made from the rally will be distributed to local, national and international charities and good causes and that all volunteers working at the event give their time freely. The entry fee goes someway to deferring the direct costs of the rally and thus helps us raise money for those in need and those less fortunate than ourselves.
Last year’s new categories of ‘Replica or Kit Cars’ and ‘American Vehicles’ proved very popular, and we will be including them again this year, with the addition of more new categories for Motor Scooters 1970 to 1991 and Pre 1991 Tractors on the Saturday. We hope these additions will enhance the event and meet with your approval.
Once again we will be organising a Scenic Run but around a different route. If you would like to participate in the run, which takes place on the Sunday, please indicate so on your entry form.
If you have some additional information about your vehicle please enclose it on a separate sheet or write it on the back of the entry form, and we will endeavour to include it in the programme and may be able to use it in any promotional material we release to the media. Confirmation of your booking and your rally registration card will be sent out in June, at the latest.
This year we hope to provide the usual entertainment on the park for your enjoyment. The two-day event attracts a wide variety of vehicles from across the country and there is the added bonus of being able to watch the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society’s ‘Trans Pennine Run’ pass through Hebden Bridge on the Sunday. The town of Hebden Bridge, only a couple of minutes walk from the park, attracts a growing number of visitors, who come to enjoy the wide variety of independent shops and the large selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs, catering to all tastes and find out why it was recently awarded ‘The Great Town Award’, by the Academy of Urbanism.
We hope you will be able to join us for a most enjoyable, relaxed rally, in pleasant surroundings.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hebden Bridge in August.
